Skate Camp Featured on Berkeley News Center
Each summer UC Berkeley’s Clark Kerr campus plays host to an array of skate camp sessions, directed by renowned skater Sean O’Loughlin, and this summer marks the camp’s thirteenth year. The camp was recently featured on the Berkeley News Center, highlighting not only the fundamental skateboarding skills learned by campers, but the moral and social lessons taught as well. O’Loughlin preaches responsibility and integrity as core values to have both in the skate park and in life, creating a respectful environment in which campers can thrive.
The camps cater to children between the ages of 8 and 16, running in two week sessions from July to August. All skills levels are welcome with both a beginner and an elite skate camp. More information can be found by following the link to the original article.
